We are seeking highly motivated individuals for the roles of Senior Electrical Commissioning Manager focusing on all major electrical systems including MV/LV distribution, UPS, generator, EPMS, protection relay, and integrated electrical testing to support mission-critical data center projects. The Senior Electrical Commissioning Manager is responsible for overall project-level commissioning strategy, client relationship management, risk control, and oversight of all Cx phases. The role includes leading multiple commissioning managers/teams, ensuring quality and technical excellence, directing L0 design review, supporting proposal/BD efforts, and representing CTA Korea to top-tier clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define project-wide commissioning strategy, schedule, and resource plan.
- Lead commissioning activity for electrical system including MV/LV switchgear, relay protection, UPS, generator, STS, PDU, and electrical safety circuit.
- Serve as primary client interface and present project status, risk, and mitigation plan.
- Direct and supervise each Commissioning Manager and field team.
- Oversee complex test scenario, including IST, load shedding, and failover test.
- Ensure quality, consistency, and compliance across commissioning deliverable.
- Resolve escalated technical, coordination, and schedule-critical issue.
- Support proposal, scope development, budgeting, and business development.
REQUIREMENT AND SKILLS
Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, preferably with a major in electrical engineering or related field
- Understand the design concept and intent by reviewing electrical construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, vendor submittals and sequences of operations
- Well versed in Microsoft Office software
Experience
- 9–15+ year of experience in commissioning, data center engineering, or large-scale MEP project.
- Extensive experience leading commissioning activity across full L0–L6 cycle.
- Proven track record managing complex integrated testing (IST), failover test, and system troubleshooting.
- Experience interfacing directly with client leadership and delivering high-level technical decision.
- Experience supervising commissioning team, mentoring junior staff, and overseeing overall project execution.
- Experience in liquid cooling, AI data center, or high-voltage integration (preferred but not mandatory).
