JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking highly motivated individuals for the role of Assistant Commissioning Manager to support mission-critical data center projects. The role involves managing and coordinating all aspects of Test & Commissioning (T&C) activities, including planning, scheduling, witnessing, and reporting. Candidates should have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Experience in MEP systems and data center projects is highly preferred. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic team across the Asia-Pacific region.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in reviewing design document, specification, and vendor submittal.
- Support preparation of commissioning schedule, checklist, and test document.
- Conduct on-site witnessing of Test & Commissioning activity under supervision.
- Track punch item and daily progress across each system.
- Coordinate with contractor and vendor for test readiness and daily activity.
- Maintain and update commissioning documentation and reporting log.
- Prepare draft test report and support compilation of final close-out package.
- Escalate technical or scheduling issue to the Commissioning Manager
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, preferably with a major in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field
- Understand the design concept and intent by reviewing mechanical or electrical construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, vendor submittals and sequences of operations
- Well versed in Microsoft Office software
Experience
- 0–3 year of experience in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering field.
- Experience in basic MEP system understanding.
- Exposure to construction site activity or commissioning support is preferred.
- Experience in reading engineering drawing, specification, or vendor submittal is an advantage.
- Fresh graduate with strong interest in data center commissioning may be considered.
